The Women's Democratic Club of Chester County is a member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Democratic Woman, founded in 1927, to promote the appointment and election of Democratic women to responsible positions within all branches of government, to encourage the advancement of women in both the public and private sectors, and to advocate the principles of the Democratic Party.
Our mission is to recruit, train and fund women for elected and appointed offices or becoming more involved within thier communities. WDCCC offers knowledge and inspiration women need to make thier future political future a reality. Starting at county level to join in with the Federation to further the cause of the Democratic Party. Extending individual development by empowering women within a multi-level process of the Democratic philosophy.
The club will provide a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest; provided, ensuring no voice is left unheard. All women within the clubs in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding. Financial assistance and resources to qualified Democratic candidates for local, state and federal officers. The club will also make contributions to qualifying high school students and college Junior's through the scholarship fund. A platform for local candidates to network with voters and volunteers. On occasion provide forums that will enhance the candidates as well as the membership.
